Legacy

Nomads Rehearsal Studios was founded by Alan Luckett in 2019. Alan had many different careers within the entertainment industry and was most well known for being the Sound Engineer and Tour Manager for bands such as Killing Miranda and the Jam!

He ran a production company from what would then become the rehearsal rooms, although at the time it was one large warehouse. There has been a private studio on site for many years before Nomads came to be. As his life went on and having a family of his own, he dreamed of a life off road – and so Nomads came into existence.

Work started on transforming the warehouse into rehearsal rooms in 2019 with the first room being finished in early 2020. The second room was finished in 2022 and work also took place to build a dojo upstairs which he was also a student of.

In 2022, Alan was sadly diagnosed with cancer and passed away in December of 2023 surrounded by family.

We strive to keep his legacy alive through Nomads.
