Nomads Rehearsal Studios was founded by Alan Luckett in 2019. Alan had many different careers within the entertainment industry but was most well known as a Sound Engineer and Tour Manager for bands like Killing Miranda, From the Jam etc… He ran a production company from what would become the rehearsal rooms, although at the time it was one large warehouse. There has been a private studio on this site for many years before Nomads came to be. As his life went on and having a family of his own, he dreamed of a life off the road – and so Nomads came into existence.

Work started on transforming the warehouse into rehearsal rooms in 2019 with the first room being finished in early 2020. The second room was finished in 2022. Work also took place to build a dojo upstairs which he was also a student of.

In 2022, Alan was diagnosed with cancer and sadly passed away in December of 2023 surrounded by family.

We strive to keep his legacy alive through Nomads.
